During a discussion of toy brand sales wherein I commented on how I would be curious to see the sales figures for the American Girl® WellieWishers 14" Dolls --- these are technically ~14.5 inches, but whatever --- my doll collecting sister happened to mention that Target was going to be carrying a new 14" (or thereabouts) Dolls line called Glitter Girls (MSRP $19.99) that is manufactured by Maison Battat. Since then she has been looking for them in-store and she finally located a set in an area Target yesterday. She txted me a pic.
I like the idea that these have supposedly "bendable" arms & legs, but I would need to test one out to see just how well the logistics of movement work. The line has quite a few items like accessories sets and clothing (mostly MSRP $7.99 or $9.99) in addition to the various dolls, so at least Target is giving it a go. Someone at Target corporate thinks the 14" Dolls market has some growth potential.

The dolls look OK to me (from the picture). I wasn't wowed, like these are the best looking dolls I've ever seen, but they are kinda cute, if a bit oddly dressed. What do y'all think?
